Silent Valley is an exclusive, private, gated, 5 STAR CAMPGROUND RESORT. It is located between Banning and Idyllwild and is within two hours of LA and San Diego, and close to Orange County. Only owners and guests may use the campground which has 850 sites on 460 acres. Elected camp members run the club. It is truly camping at an excellant level. Amenties include: fully equipped entertainment/activity youth and adult centers, pool, lighted tennis courts, hiking, and "PAR" courses, a stocked fishing lake, miniature golf, planned recreation activities by an activity director, a chuck-wagon restaurant, general store, snack bars, large laundry room, full serve rest rooms/bath, a 24 hour security station, a tram to ride on, wireless internet, movies, dances, instruction, and live concerts to name a few of the activities. If you bought a new membership from Silent Valley costs are around $5000.
